SCREEN: Women's Adventure Film Tour @ Savoy Cinema, Stockport (7 Aug)

History has seen some incredibly courageous female adventurers - from Jean Batten to Louise Arner Boyd, countless women have trotted around and beyond the globe.

Sadly, they don't always get a equal share of the spotlight: that's why we're super excited for the Women's Adventure Film Tour, a celebration of ferocious female feats, to hit Manchester on August 7th.

Arriving at Stockport's Savoy Cinema, the event aims to showcase a number of ridiculously exciting films. Each presentation will show something different - from mountaineering to skiing, mountain biking to surfing, watch a host of incredible gals achieve it all as you spend the night on the edge of your seat!
