MUSIC: Melting Wax All Dayer @ Night People, 9/6

Melting Wax Promotions are putting on their very first All Dayer event at Manchester’s Night People venue June 9th.

The gig is set to feature tonnes of talent for twelve whole hours from four in the afternoon till the early hours for the most dedicated.

Bands confirmed for the lineup include Fruit Tones, The Goa Express, White Flowers, Slow Knife, URF, The Bleaches and Slack Alices, with genres ranging from shoegaze to garage rock.

SLOW KNIFE have recently been on a small run of dates with Manchester local high flyers Cabbage; their live show has been honed perfectly and their dissonant, noisey show is set to cause a stir.

THE GOA EXPRESS are going to bring something a tad different to the festival, with gorgeous vocal melodies filled with a spritely pomp and whirling guitar riffs.

WHITE FLOWERS have recently found recognition for their support slots with Jane Weaver, earning comparisons to shoegaze titans like Beach House and Cocteau Twins. This could well be their smallest Manchester show for a good while.
