Off of the release of her latest record, the inward facing Tell Me How You Really Feel, Courtney Barnett has scaled down her Manchester gig from the impersonal Academy the thrillingly beautiful Albert Hall.

It’s a move that makes perfect sense. The second album from Barnett is such a deeply emotive effort, it wouldn’t feel right in the O2 venue. The singer’s latest lyrics, despite the slacker-rock aesthetic of the instrumentals, are simply too personal. They (mostly) avoid the overly-technical lyrics of her first record in favour of more stirring introspection, and it is set to dazzle at the Albert Hall.

Tickets are still available here for £26.25.
