"HIBUSHIBIRE are an Osaka-based Japanese hard-psychedelic freak-out rock band."
If this opening line doesn't spark your interest, you may have to check your pulse. Influenced by the hard-edged psychedelia of the 1960s and 70s, this idiosyncratic 3-piece will be arriving at Salford's Eagle Inn to cleanse your soul and rid you from those chilly Mancunian blues - serving shredding, screeching guitars with a generous side of improvisational drum beats and a sprinkling of hard rock.
Playing alongside these ferocious headliners are free-form jammers and fellow psychedelics Earthling Society, who - taking an eclectic influence from the likes of Hawkwind, Julian Cope and Can - are set to present an equally earth-shaking set.
If you're feeling a little disillusioned, or craving something life-affirming - this gig should get you back on track. Tickets available here.
