PILLOW QUEENS refer to themselves as "your new favourite band" - for us a NOWT, we think they might be right. With bucketfuls of joyfully infectious, hard-edged melodies, this Dublin four-piece are set to bring their very own brand of husky DIY fuzz to Night & Day next month (14th April) for an ANTICS showcase.
The ambitious tour - which will see the Queens hitting some of the finest venues in the UK - comes after news of their latest single, Puppets, released on March 16th - a hauntingly hypnotic yet surprisingly consumable bit of alt-rock loveliness.
In short, we strongly suggest you check 'em out: particularly if you've got for hots for the latest wave of grungey DIY punks (see: Peach Club & Mouses). If you fancy booking tickets, head over here sharpish.
