They’re loud, unruly and distorted, but you could still take ‘em home to meet your mum. Embarking on their biggest tour to date, fuzz-kings MOUSES are set to return to the streets of Salford, hitting the city’s intimate Eagle Inn on April 13th.
Despite their friendly demeanour, this Middlesbrough-based duo certainly craft a sound to be reckoned with. Armed with thronging guitars, screeching vocals and a stage presence that’ll leave you positively exhausted, they’re best known as “the bastard offspring of The Jesus And Mary Chain and a seriously distorted Weezer” - a label any up-and-coming group would be proud of.
The special guests for their Salfordian return are yet to be announced, but considering the impeccable track record of gallant hosts Scruff-of-the-neck, we’re sure that the evening will be anything but a disappointment.
Don’t forget your earplugs - it’s gonna be a big’un. If you fancy checking the lads out for yourself, cast your eyes (and ears) over their eponymous debut below.
